«Project Hail Mary» , Andy Weir

My introduction to the author happened back in 2018 and the first book I read was The Martian. With what rapture I read it. And now, after such a long period of time, I decided to continue sailing the vast expanse of space with Andy Weyer.

In my opinion, Andy Weyer is one of the best contemporary science fiction authors who manages to weave non-boring science into fiction. In each of his books, he gives comprehensive answers to all questions.

ANDY WEIR built a career as a software engineer until the success of his first published novel, THE MARTIAN, allowed him to live out his dream of writing fulltime. He is a lifelong space nerd and a devoted hobbyist of subjects such as relativistic physics, orbital mechanics, and the history of manned spaceflight. He also mixes a mean cocktail. He lives in California. Andy’s next book, ARTEMIS, is available now.

If you are as afraid of fiction as I am, afraid of getting confused by scientific terms and formulas, then it is safe to take Weyer's work! The author lays everything out clearly and concisely, leaving not a single question hanging. I am not a scientist, but as a reader far from science all scientific explanations were clear to me. I consider such ability of the author to convey scientific facts to the reader in simple language a gift.

Along with science and ordinary everyday life, I don't know how legitimate it is to call everyday life being in space, the book is filled with humor. I can safely call reading the book fascinating! Yes, someone may think that with science is overdone and reading this particular part is boring. But as I always say and will say, do not rely entirely on someone else's opinion, always read yourself and make your own! After all, all felt-tip pens are different for taste and color.

I won't talk about the plot, because all the "these are the twists and turns" can be spoilered and then you will not experience the pleasure. Everything you need to know, you will find in the annotation. Or it is better not to read neither the annotation nor the detailed discussions at all. Science fiction is best approached with a "clear head". I read the synopsis before writing my review

Actually as always, since sometimes you can find a big and bold spoiler in the annotations too, I avoid reading them.

The development of the plot is systematic and dynamic. The characters are interesting, especially I was wildly delighted with the second hero, with whom the author introduces readers a little later, who read, he understood who I mean. And from the ending of the story it is difficult for me to express my feelings. It is so much to my liking and hit me in the heart, that all this storm of emotions just need to experience! After reading it, I walked around with burning eyes and under the impression for a long time. And did not hesitate to read another book by the author.
